We need to work on things.|Recommended: YesIt took over two weeks for them to fix issues in our bathroom and now there's a sudden time change for the roof UNACCEPTABLE. I will be sending out emails to those in charge. With that said, the place is adequate. I like living here but we need to work on things.

Great Amenities but Poor Service|Recommended: YesThe amenities at Meridian Mt Vernon are spectacular. The service however, is not. The lady who sits at the front desk most mornings days is the most rude concierge I have ever had. She is not attentive and does not know how to problem solve. On top of her lacking capability, she is simply rude. The maintenance team responds in a timely fashion when it comes to standard maintenance requests. BUT I had a rock thrown through my bedroom window, land on my bed while sleeping and it took the a month to get replaced. Maintenance came to clean the glass off my carpet and bed, but it took three requests for them to properly clean my window and window treatments. I understand it takes time to get a window repaired, but not a single person showed concern for my safety or understanding for the inconvenience and displacement I had to deal with.

Very nice |Recommended: YesThe building is gorgeous. The roof and gym definitely make the rent almost worth it. The apartments are very nice with new appliances but the walls are extremely thin within the apartments to the neighboring aparments hallway. Extremely loud on the highway and a bit overpriced.

Expensive, but within average price range for this area|Recommended: YesFront desk staff and maintenance staff are amazing - can't stress that enough. Leasing office is confined by the corporate office, and, therefore, can be frustrating and rigid. We had an issue with a theft from garage and notified the office asked them to notify residents, but they didn't want to cause a panic and failed to do so. Months later many more, similar thefts.

Nice apartments with great amenities|Recommended: YesI've only been living here for a few months but I haven't had any negative experiences yet. The apartments are really nice and the amenities are great. Though, for that price, you'd expect them to be. There were some small issues with the apartment when we 1st moved in, but they were resolved pretty quickly and haven't had any issues since. You can hear into the other apartments when walking down the hallways but the noise is pretty concealed for the most part when I'm inside my apartment which is great
Great apartments, friendly staff, poor management|Recommended: NoThe apartments and building amenities are top-notch except for struggling greatly with cell phone service in the building and even our own apartment. But management is a work in progress. The community can sometimes have a college dorm feel - the noise level can sometimes be an issue, the crowds in the hall and in the community space can get rowdy, and the messes they leave are unfortunate. Management appears to be trying different policies but many of those policies are ineffective. Bike storage security has been a work in progress, where you pick up packages is still random, how the community space is regulated is hit or miss. We have a wonderful rooftop for example but have been unable to really enjoy it because the policies on guests are not enforced. Even after management sent out their new strict policy regarding the rooftop and pool, you had belligerent, intoxicated and partially nude guests in the pool. It's a shame to be paying the rent that we're paying for that lacking quality. The staff is great, helpful, and very friendly. Upper management however doesn't seem to care about resident retention or assisting you once you've signed a lease. They just want you in the door and then you're on own.

Great Place--wish management was better|Recommended: YesI have lived in a Meridian for almost 4 years. I started over at the Gallery Place location, and I've been living at the Mt. Vernon location for 2 years. I absolutely love the neighborhood and location, in fact, I'm hard pressed to think of a better one. The Meridian Mt. Vernon is well designed and beautiful. I love my apartment and maintenance has always been great about promptly fixing any repairs. My only complaint is that I wish the shared spaces were better maintained. The rooftop is beautiful, but the grills and fire pits, which are frequently in use, are broken for the most part. During the summer months, the pool is very often filthy due to the high volume of people utilizing it . This is really disappointing when you factor in expense of rent and the persistence of those issues. I wish that maintenance or the leasing office would be more on-the-ball when trying to solve for those issues. Overall, the staff is okay, but don't expect them to go out of their way.
Excellent place to live for young professionals|Recommended: YesFantastic building in an up and coming neighborhood. Great local restaurants with more coming in all the time, plus easy access to other neighborhoods.
The property was amazing.|Recommended: YesMy experience with Meridian has been amazing. The staff was very professional and anytime I needed a maintence call, the issue was handled the same day. I never heard the neighbors through the walls and never received complaints even when I played loud music.
Great first apartment |Recommended: YesIt's a great building, but a little on the expensive side.
Great Location and Appliances, Bad shower Pressure|Recommended: NoStaff is great. Lobby is clean and free daily coffee is a great perk. Unfortunately, The shower pressure has been decreasing steadily and is just getting worse and worse.

Package concierge retrieval|Recommended: Nothe package concierge system is a joke. the barcode that was sent to me in the email opened a locker containing a package that was addressed to someone other than me. my package is still locked in one of the other lockers and i was told by the front desk that no one would be able to open the locker for me until Monday because she does not have access to the package concierge system. why is that desperately needed this package today. the package retrieval system in this building is the worst i've ever seen - it's unclear why management cannot find a way to give residents their package when it arrives it's not a complicated endeavor. completely unacceptable.

Our team does have access to the package lockers in rare cases that this type of incident occurs.
