|Recommended: NoHorrible Management — This place is incredibly poorly managed. The property itself is nice and the maintenance staff is great. However, the number of mistakes that have happened and the true lack of concern or interest in correcting those mistakes is astounding. Most recently, I received a call from my dog walker that cleaners had arrived to clean my apartment. I was alarmed to hear this because I do not have cleaners. Not only had the front desk allowed them access but they gave the cleaners a spare key. Despite claiming to have a strict policy for granting access, the front desk granted access without my filling out a form or verbal consent of any kind. Furthermore, I called the leasing office. The agent was deeply uninterested in helping me resolve the situation. When my dog walker was able to determine what happened, the cleaners had the wrong apartment number , both the front desk woman and leasing agent were completely unapologetic. I asked the leasing agent what are the actual policies and rules for allowing a third party access to my apartment. He said I am not really sure what the rules are, I can transfer you to the front desk. The front desk was just as uninterested in helping me get to the bottom of this issue to prevent it from happening again. How do building staff who grant access to apartments not know the building's access policies I requested to have someone who did know something contact me to prevent further unauthorized entries and still awaiting a response. As I mentioned, this is far from the first issue I have had with staff. Other mistakes I have encountered include being told conflicting information about cancelation policies on the guest suite rental agreements and being out 200, having legitimate people with the proper authorization forms filled out denied entry to my apartment, misplacing packages that I have proved were delivered but never logged into building system only to discover them in a second package room a week later, being denied therapy dog status in violation of federal law, losing important paperwork and needing to sign the same from multiple times. I understand mistakes happen however there is a major attitude issue that goes along with these mistakes. Unless the management company changes this, I would never recommend this building.

|Recommended: NoI dislike living here — This is not a well-run complex. My roommate and I have both had multiple packages lost by staff, or have mail returned not delivered to us on time. Staff is often rude, especially when we are asking about issues such as lost packages or elevators not working. One of the four elevators of the building was not working for well over a month--with one of the other elevators used as a freight elevator, this becomes an issue. Further, there is absolutely no reason stairs should be egress only, another way to alleviate the elevator issue. As a dog owner, I assumed there would be stairs available to return to my apartment, as this is typical of every apartment complex I have lived in, especially when they bill themselves as pet friendly. Further, the apartment complex has signs in almost every planter surrounding the building asking to keep pets away--not pet friendly The dog run is full of small pebbles that retain smell and are hard to walk in--if this is redone in the near future, I suggest dirt. The parking structure has well over 50 columns a floor, making it hard to pull in and out of spots safely. The key fob system is horrible--we have had issues making sure our apartment is locked. It seems excessive that you need a clicker to get in the parking garage, a key fob to get into the door to the elevator, and then a key fob to get to your floor. Since you need a key fob to get anywhere on the elevator besides the lobby, you will never get order in food delivered to the apartment. My roommate and I do not both get each communication from the building, meaning that I was not informed of a new package policy in October whereby the apartment complex does not accept packages over 50 lbs which in itself is ridiculous, especially since the apartment complex won't let delivery people up to your apartment, so the item gets returned . The blinds included in the apartment are not effective, and, because windows are literally floor to ceiling, there is no way to install rods your own curtains. The policy of not being able to put nails in the wall to hang pictures is also absurd--it feels like I'm living in a sterile environment, not a home. While I realize this is out of the hands of the apartment complex, the noise from construction immediately next door to the apartment is loud and runs from 6am to the evenings. The rent is far too high for all of the issues we have experienced while living here.

|Recommended: YesSad to be moving out, but it is time — I've lived here for almost two years now and have loved it. I switched apartments midway through and thought I was going to murder someone in the process management has terrible policies in place if you want to switch roommates but overall I enjoyed my experince. My one big complaint would be the noise. My apt faces the intersection of New York and 4th street and I'm constantly hearing the noise from the busy intersection, which is to be expected but I feel as though when they built it, they didn't install double glass pained windows. I've been to other apts on busy intersections with better windows and you barely hear anything . There's not much they can do now to fix that problem but I just would recommend for anyone looking at this building to stay away from that side of the building.
|Recommended: YesGood building, poorly managed — Meridian will not fix things like outdoor grills fireplaces, etc for MONTHS at a time. When you ask the front desk about these things they do not care and are not helpful. There has been only ONE working grill out of THREE, and it works terribly. The outdoor TV was broken for a prolonged period of time. The coffee machine broke so often they decided to limit its hours.

|Recommended: YesGreat property, but the walls are thin. — Great property, and community. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the pipes and neighbors if they are above a normal decibel level. Not really a problem unless it is after hours.

|Recommended: YesA bit overpriced- I really wish the staff front desk mainly was much more customer friendly. they can be unfriendly and unhelpful and just MIA most of the time. Maintenance staff is much more friendlier. — Good building and amenities but the appliances are not the quality I was expecting. The residents activities are about par-wish they did a little better. Front staff not friendly and usually not helpful.
|Recommended: NoIt is nice. I wish the staff looked out for residents more rather than their best interests — I like the Meridian. I think they try and nickel and dime everyone and looking out for themselves as employees under a company rather than the experience for the tenants living here. I wish they have surgery input on decisions rather than abruptly making decisions without consult from the tenants that are renting. I believe there needs to be some slight improvements to the gym with some missing equipment as well as more machines. I believe the coffee machine limit from 6-2 is not fair for the early risers and grave yard shift renters and it should be at minimum 5am-5pm.
|Recommended: YesLove living in the meridian — Friendly neighbors, friendly staff, and the building always looks nice. Noise is very rare. One of the elevators is always finicky when using your fob which can be annoying but not a huge issue. The dog park is noisey sometimes late at night but again no issue with any dogs. I enjoy living in the community definitely. And having the grocery store close is a major bonus
