submitted by Jordyn P. - |Recommended: YesGlorified frat house — The walls are way too thin. Most people that live here are in their early 20's. I'm tired of smelling weed, listening to my neighbors music blaring, and looking at everyone's trash either in the halls or by the trash shoots.
response from property -Hi Jordyn, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and share your concerns with us. Our team takes these complaints very seriously and we are disappointed to hear that you have had such a negative experience while living at our community. Smoking is not permitted, and we understand that noise from neighboring apartments can happen from time to time. We apologize for any inconvenience this can cause and we ask that our residents report any disturbances to the front desk at time of occurrence so that they can be addressed immediately. Our Property Manager is reaching out to you to discuss your concerns in more detail. In the mean time you may reach him directly at 202-962-0010. We look forward to speaking with you soon. Sincerely, Ashleigh N.
submitted by Lara B. - |Recommended: YesLove it here — Easy-living and luxurious. The rent could be lower or at least not go up , but I really have no complaints at all. Thanks
submitted by Lianne B. - |Recommended: YesGreat Place To Live — Building staff and maintenance are wonderful Walls must be cement because I can't hear my neighbors above, below, next door ever. Great location and great amenities. Overall - highly recommend living here

Vernon Triangle area. Pet-friendly, decent gym, awesome rooftop with pool, grills, fire pits, and good views of the city. One block to 24-hour Safeway, multiple bars, and restaurants in the area, and close to I395. Competitive price for all of the amenities.

submitted by Suneetha J. - |Recommended: NoThe property is fine with good amenities but the staff is not helpful enough — Neutral

Parking is usually available even to buy passes for visitors. Coffee machine is nice even though its often out of order. Rooftop and club room should stay open later.
submitted by William K. - |Recommended: YesThis is a great property. We love it so much we are hoping to secure a larger unit in near future. — This is a well ran building. I very much appreciate the efficiency of the leasing staff as well as the always helpful and friendly front desk staff. Feeling blessed to have found such a great place to live.
submitted by Andrew E. - |Recommended: YesGreat Apartment Complex With Questionable Decision — Overall, the apartment is a great place to live. Great location, great amenities, and wonderful staff. However, a series of decisions over the last year have overwhelmingly been anti-resident -Charging residents for guest pool passes -Refusing to accept large packages -Eliminating 24 7 free coffee -Implementing trash fee -Reducing number of pool guests from 2 per resident to 2 per apartment, despite number of residents in apartment. When guests come to visit and enjoy an amenity, I always feel obligated to give them the caveat that the amenity might be eliminated or pay to use in the near future.
response from property -Thank you for giving us a four star review and we are glad to hear that overall you enjoy calling the Meridian home. We are happy to offer complimentary gourmet coffee to our residents every day from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. During the weekend hours only, there is a fee for a guest pool pass, however the rooftop lounge is open to all residents and their guests at no extra charge. By charging a fee on the weekend, the property can ensure that all our residents may enjoy the amenity space without overcrowding. We accept all packages but request that over-sized packages or packages over 50 pounds, be arranged with prior authorization at the front desk so that we can allow the shipping vendor access to put the package directly in the apartment. We hope this helps clarify any confusion about our amenities and policies. If you would like to discuss these concerns in further detail please reach out to our Property Manager at 202-962.0010.

submitted by Fili T. - |Recommended: NoPoor response to noise complaints — I've lived here since June 2015 and while there are good things about the apartment, the negative experience I've had with how management responds to noise complaints makes me wish I did not renew my lease. The worst part about this apartment are the neighbors who blast music. I have woken up to music as early as 5am and have been kept up as late as 1am. After contacting my neighbor at least 6 times, I took it up with management. I have contacted management several times but the problem persists. Management has stopped communicating with me. The apartment building itself looks nice so it has that going for it. But don't rent here if you don't like noise. The walls are paper thin.
response from property -Hi Fili, We appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us and for allowing us the opportunity to respond. We understand the noise from neighboring apartments can be a nuisance and apologize for any inconvenience the noise may have caused. We ask that our residents report any disturbances to the front desk at the time of occurrence so that they can be addressed immediately. Our Property Manager has reached out to you to discuss this issue and we hope that moving forward you will not have the same experience. If you would like to discuss it further please reach back out to our team at 202-962-0010. Sincerely, Ashleigh N.
submitted by Mary D. - |Recommended: YesIt's my Happy Place — The neighborhood convenience, the helpful, professional staff, the responsive maintenance and general upkeep, and all the amenities make Meridian MVT a great place to live. The apartment layouts are well thought out and very comfortable. It's pet friendly, I have a cat , secure, and close to Metro, bus routes, and 395. It's great city living
response from property -Thank you for taking the time to leave us an awesome review! Our staff strives to provide amazing customer service and we are happy to hear that we're taking good care of you. Thank you for choosing to call the Meridian at Mt. Vernon Triangle home! Sincerely, Ashleigh N.
submitted by Connor R. - |Recommended: YesGreat place to live — Living here is living made easy. Great location, friendly staff, and great amenities. I could not have picked a better place to live
submitted by Kalina K. - |Recommended: YesBeautiful property clean, comfortable, secure, and well-managed. — From what I observed, living here is comfortable, secure, and accessible to any amenities one may require.
submitted by Brandon H. - |Recommended: YesConvenient downtown location, modern amenities, helpful staff, and good value. — Phase II is the newer building and includes the gym if that is of importance to you. Phase I is older, but is still modern and has the pool on top of it. The rooftop is easy to reach from both buildings. Be sure to visit the apartments both during the week and on the weekends. Some units closer to New York Avenue may be noisier than you think. Overall, Meridian Mount Vernon Place has provided a pleasant living experience. Note I ranked the parking as neutral' because we don't have a car and haven't used the parking garage yet. Also, I gave four stars for noise and by that I meant we don't hear our neighbors often, so noise has not been a problem to date.
