Very good property with rude concierge.|Recommended: YesVery good property with well maintained amenities. However, it feels like the phase 2 is maintained better than the phase 1 mail is dumped in the hallway, coffee machine is almost always broken The biggest complaint is the rude and unprofessional concierge, especially the lady who works in the morning shift. It feels like a crime to ask her any question or let her know any concern. On the positive side, the amenities are maintained very well and the apartments are built well. There is no noise whatsoever from neighbors maybe the walls are sound proof . I would definitely recommend a friend to lease an apartment in phase 2.

Excellent, not perfect|Recommended: YesI have had a great experience at this apartment building. My only two complaints are the occasional unprofessional staff i.e. not as friendly or helpful and the annoyance of having to use your key for everything. However, they are minor complaints and not indicative of my overall expereince

Clean, new, well built, fair rules.|Recommended: YesObviously it's a little pricy, but I assume thats due to all the amenities. It's got one of the best rooftops in the city, though apparently staffing the pool with a lifeguard is sometimes an issue. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with maintenance not coming out, or problems with packages. Living on the ground floor isn't as bad as I thought it would be, and once the construction across 4th is finished, it will be a lot quieter in the mornings. It's conveniently close to the Safeway, and if you drive, it's right at the entrance to 395.

Nice apartments, good community|Recommended: YesThis building has everything you would want in an apartment community- great gym, awesome rooftop deck, large pool area, three large grills, large parking garage if you want to pay for it , etc. Some residents are a little rowdy, but there haven't been any specific incidents that have affected us personally, and we have always been able to enjoy the amenities. Some of the appliances are not great quality, but they do their jobs and maintenance comes quickly 1-2 days if there is a problem. Overall I think this is a good place to live, especially if you work nearby or use 395 to commute.
The property is great but it requires more rules for neighbors since the allowance of having students and inmature renters who treat the place as a college dorm|Recommended: YesI have been disappointed lately to see how the property has been renting to students which they tend to don't care about the neighbors and always drinking and being loud on the hallways and leaving garbage on the hallways and breaking lights all the lamps. I have been in this property for more than three years but lately I have been disappointed to see how the renters students or young folks have been allowed to do anything and treat the building as a college dorm.

All around good place to live|Recommended: YesThe apartment building is very nice, with many amenities including a huge gym , and good parking options. Additionally, the building is right next to a Safeway which makes grocery shopping easy. Also there are two metro stops that are 5-10 minutes away. The main issue I've had is with the noise of the other residents. Since it is a building with a lot of younger people there can be a lot of noise on the weekends and there has been some damage made to one of the elevators. However, this issue is outweighed by the benefits that this building offers.
Meridian is ideal for recently graduated young professionals|Recommended: YesEverything is great here, except for the constant issues of noise and annoying neighbors. Property is safe, well-kept, stylish, and in the perfect location. Ideal for a first apartment, but not for long-term living.
Excellent with one exception|Recommended: YesI love living at the Meridian. However, I find that the majority of the time that I go to the front desk of my building II there is no one there. Also, the coffee machines are frequently broken, often both at the same time. These things are fairly minor and my experience has overall been great though I feel that I would likely be more concerned about noise if I didn't live at the very end of my hallway.

I love it |Recommended: YesIt's a very nice, modern looking aesthetic. All appliances are modern and work very well. My particular room is a bit of an odd meaning unconventional layout, but very spacious. My favorite parts are the common spaces though. Lots of nooks all around the building to sit and work. The rooftop garden and pool are really what sold me on the place. And the gym is the second best gym I've ever used, which is saying quite a lot for an apartment complex gym.
Meridian is a great community to live. Everyone is very friendly and the amenities are top-notch |Recommended: YesWonderful community to live in DC Beautiful lobby, shared spaces and rooftop lounge pool areas. The apartments have great quality, real wood cabinets and high-end fixtures. One of the best if not the best, we looked for a while price points for a luxury building in DC.

Apartment Review|Recommended: NoThis has been the worst experience I have had living in an apartment in numerous different locations throughout the country. I paid for amenities that are always broken including the coffee machine and the firepit. I have had to submit maintanance requests repeatedly due to the low quality of appliances. Most importantly, the noise level is unacceptable. I can hear my neighbors base blasting at all different times during the day. While this is certainly an issue with the level of their music, it appears that it is a bigger issue with the walls. I have spent times at other Meridian complexes and this one is the lowest quality and has the thinest walls.
