Vernon Triangle — This is a very nice place to live, with all of the key amenities one would desire in an apartment complex. At times, it can be crowded and noisy in common areas, but this is to be expected. The staff is fantastic and the grounds are impeccably. I look forward to continuing my time here at the Meridian.
submitted by Michael S. - |Recommended: YesThe worst residenital experience of my life. — I would say the living here was a horrible experience. It's like living in a dorm, where on Thursday-Sunday you see nothing but drunk people in the evening trashing common areas. The leasing office does a POOR job of enforcing their rules for the common areas. On a few of the many occasions that common areas were trashed I photographed the mess that was left and provided them to Tim, the property manager, who long story short said he would follow up with me and take care of the situation with his ideas . Sure enough, I never heard back from him I am happy to provide again nor did he manage to resolve any of the issues. There was one day that I was walking my guest off of the property when a resident decided to throw his her can of beer from the rooftop terrace which missed me by 2 feet. Some of the security guards who watch the rooftop certainly have a good time drinking with residents. The people who work in the front desk Phase II , with the exception of the lady who works during the day and Kim who both are wonderful , are worthless at their jobs. It's common to see the lady who works the early morning shift asleep cuddling and using the laptop as a pillow.

submitted by Maximo A. - |Recommended: NoGreat building, poor tenants — The building is really cool and you have grea amenities that make you feel your rent is well paid. However, most of the times you have the feeling of living in a college dorm. I would prefer to have more mature and professional people instead of students from high-income families who do not care at all about treating well other tenants or the amenities of the building.

submitted by Nina Z. - |Recommended: YesI love the building, great amenities — I would definitely recommend this building. It's in a great location and has amazing amenities. The price is a bit high but we got a good deal at the time that we signed so I hope if we renew the lease, we get the same price as I think the price of our room has gone up a lot in recent months . The only problem I have and it is a big problem is with the customer service of the front desk. A few of the workers downstairs are extremely rude and unhelpful. There is one woman in particular who is so openly rude and has such a bad attitude with residents that I avoid picking up my package when she is there. In addition to the bad service, I have also complained about several problems I have had picking up packages. At least six of my packages have not been logged in by the front desk when they were delivered and have sat in the package room for weeks. I had proof of delivery online and whenever I asked for the packages, the front desk showed zero urgency or care that they find it. They just shrug and tell me it's not there. This has been extremely frustrating especially because a couple of these packages have been time sensitive things that I needed on a certain day and was not able to get. I have written the leasing office an email about this problem but I think they should also know about the rude employee as well. This is something I would warn a potential resident about for sure.

submitted by Molly M. - |Recommended: YesYoung professional's heaven — The Meridian is a great place to live if you are a young professional There are so many nice neighbors and cute dogs in our building. The price is great for the location - it is right next to the highway which is great if you need to drive to work like me I appreciate that it is always clean and the apartments are so new. All of the amenities on top of this, and its a great place to come home to after a long day at work.

submitted by Kayla Y. - |Recommended: YesModern, luxrious amenties and friendly community — The building is in a great location in DC with close access to restaurants, bars, transportation and a grocery store. The property is well-kept and the amenities are great. The staff is very accommodating and the neighbors are friendly. I would definitely recommend the apartment building to other people.
submitted by Alisa A. - |Recommended: YesReview — Please require those at the front desk to be there at all times. If they take a break, it should be for no more than 5-10 minutes. I can't tell you how many times I've needed to pick up a package or needed some sort of other assistance from the front desk and there was a sign saying they had stepped away briefly, but nobody can back for over 30 minutes. It is incredibly frustrating.

submitted by Alexandra Z. - |Recommended: YesPerfect place for GULC students — Move in Meridian at Mount Vernon Triangle was an excellent decision. The atmosphere and the location is entirely appropriate, especially for students at GULC. The decor and atmosphere of the social areas is excellent and exceeds the perception through images.
